TP Greece returns to HOCSH for a second year of sports and wellbeing

Health & Well-BeingHRTP Athens

At TP Greece, we believe wellbeing can take many forms. Sometimes, it means taking a moment to recharge. Sometimes, it means learning something new. And sometimes, it means getting out there, moving, playing and sharing an experience with others.

That’s why, for the second consecutive year, TP Greece is participating in the Hellenic Organization for Company Sport & Health (HOCSH). This creates more opportunities for our people to connect through sports, teamwork and shared experiences.

Building on our participation in 2025, this year we saw even greater participation across the company. More people got involved and represented TP Greece in a wider range of sporting activities. In addition, we also welcomed a bowling team to our line-up, adding another way for our people to take part and enjoy the experience together.

And alongside the increased participation, our teams achieved some fantastic results.

Seven sports, more participants, one team spirit

With more people participating this year, our HOCSH experience continued to grow. This gave more members of our team the opportunity to explore their interests, enjoy friendly competition and connect with colleagues outside their everyday routines.

Because being part of a team doesn’t look the same for everyone. Sometimes, it means working towards a shared result. Other times, it means challenging yourself, trying something new or simply enjoying the experience alongside others. When someone steps onto the court, joins a running event or takes part in an individual competition, every participant contributes to the wider team spirit.

This year, our people took part in seven sports through HOCSH:

  • Football
  • Basketball 5×5
  • Running
  • Chess
  • Tennis
  • Swimming
  • Bowling

Each sport brings its own challenges, skills and energy. From the teamwork required on the football pitch and basketball court to the focus of chess, the precision of bowling, the technique of tennis and swimming, and the endurance of running, there are many ways to get involved.

Celebrating the achievements of our teams

Our increased participation this year was accompanied by some fantastic results across our sporting teams. We celebrated silver and bronze medals in bowling, a bronze medal in football and basketball, gold and bronze medals in tennis, four medals in swimming, and first place in the men’s 5 km run. Moreover, our bowling team also achieved the best score in the women’s qualifying round, adding another highlight to a memorable year of sports, teamwork and shared achievements.

From team competitions to individual performances, our people demonstrated commitment and sportsmanship across a variety of disciplines. Most importantly, every result is part of a wider experience built around taking part, challenging ourselves and sharing the journey with others.

More than competition

At TP Greece, employee Health & Wellbeing is an important part of the everyday employee experience. It is about creating opportunities for our people to step away from their routines, stay active, connect with colleagues and enjoy experiences together.

Our participation in HOCSH is one of the ways we bring this approach to life. Through different sporting activities, our people can build connections in a new setting. They can encourage one another and share moments that go beyond their everyday roles.

The medals and podium finishes are certainly worth celebrating, but the value of this experience goes beyond the final score. It is also about the connections formed, the encouragement shared and the opportunity to be part of something together.

With more participants and seven sports represented this year, our second year with HOCSH has created even more opportunities for our people to take part in activities that suit their interests and strengths.

One team spirit, many different games

Our 2nd year with HOCSH marks another step in our ongoing commitment to employee Health & Wellbeing. The increased participation, the addition of a bowling team to our sporting line-up and the achievements across our teams make this years’ experience especially meaningful. Because creating a positive workplace also means making space for the activities that help people feel energized, connected and engaged.

Whether it is a football match, a basketball game, a run, a swim, a tennis rally, a bowling frame or a strategic move on the chessboard, we celebrate everyone who showed up, took part and represented TP Greece.

Seven sports, more people involved and countless opportunities to connect. We look forward to building on this momentum and creating even more opportunities for our people to move, connect and enjoy being part of the team.
