TP and SciFY support the efforts of Civil Society

AI Pioneers to empower people

At TP Greece, we recognize AI as a key driver of today’s most transformational organizations. Thus, we remain true to our commitment to promote innovation and digital evolution.

In line with this commitment, we support SciFY as they run training programs for NGOs in areas like environment, vulnerable groups, and youth empowerment, helping them understand AI and integrate it into their operations through seminars and workshops.

Supporting “Science for You”

The educational program has been developed and will be implemented by the organization ‘SciFY – Science for You.’ It is designed to provide training and educational resources to non-profit organizations.

The goal of this endeavor is to empower non-profit organizations with new knowledge and skills that they can utilize to make a more significant and positive impact on society and the environment.

These initiatives are making strides in education and empowerment and fostering a profound understanding of the transformative potential of artificial intelligence. It’s a story of unity, curiosity, and the boundless possibilities that lie ahead.

Our workshops with SciFY

On October 17, Odysseia, Desmos, Tipping Point, and Mexoxo came together for their first A.I. training event, organized by TP and SciFY. With anticipation, they dove into AI training, uncovering its possibilities and practical uses.

On November 7 we joined the second workshop with SciFY. In anticipation and excitement, three new NGOs set out to unravel the secrets of intelligence and explore the world of AI education and training. Together, they explored the fundamental tasks that artificial intelligence can accomplish and how it integrates seamlessly into everyday life. They examined AI’s fundamental tasks and learned how to apply it effectively in real-world situations.

HIGGS training by SciFY

On November 22, the 2-day hands on training of HIGGS by SciFY was completed. During the training we reviewed case studies and HIGGS explored what is the difference between AI. and IT. In fact, the HIGGS team realized that only 7 out of 20 projects they considered AI were actually AI, while the remaining 13 were just under the umbrella of “IT”.

On December 6, 2023, we completed another 2-day training, this time for WWF’s top management team.
With the trainers’ guidance, the team examined what AI can do, explored environmental applications, and discovered new ways to innovate.

After reviewing 27 ideas, they identified 16 with strong AI potential and selected the top ones for 2024.
