Driving Multigenerational Leadership at Key HR Conference
On December 2, 2025, TP Greece participated in the 1st Multigenerational Management Conference organized by Boussias Events at the Wyndham Grand Athens Hotel.
Our Chief People Officer, Triantafilos Alexopoulos, represented the company as a panelist in the session “Leading the Shift: A New Playbook for Multigenerational Leadership.” The discussion was moderated by Dora Economou from SEV, bringing together perspectives on how HR leaders can shape the future of multigenerational workplaces.
Turning Complexity into Opportunity
The conference focused on how HR leaders can transform generational diversity into a meaningful business advantage. Throughout the discussion, our CPO emphasized the importance of “strategic empathy,” the ability to truly understand different experiences and motivations and translate them into a shared direction for the team. He also highlighted the role of adaptive leadership, noting that no leader can apply the same approach to every generation. Understanding these differences, he remarked, is what accelerates team performance.
TP Greece’s Approach to Multigenerational Leadership
At TP Greece, we see multigenerational diversity as a catalyst for collaboration, innovation, and better decision-making. During the panel, Triantafilos shared how leadership within the company balances empathy with operational clarity, ensuring that people of all ages understand how their role connects to team goals. He explained how combining technological knowledge with emotional intelligence, AI alongside EI, helps bridge generational gaps and creates a more coherent, high-performing working environment.

Creating Psychological Safety Across Generations
A central theme of the conversation was the importance of psychological safety. As our CPO highlighted, it always begins with the manager, who must listen openly and avoid judging ideas based on age or tenure. Psychological safety also requires clear guidelines that encourage everyone to contribute, rather than relying on informal team dynamics.
When different generations work together on projects, trust grows naturally, especially when supported by structured mentoring and reverse mentoring programs. This blend of experience and technological comfort strengthens relationships without undermining hierarchy, allowing ideas to come from any part of the team.
Navigating Digital Transformation Together
The panel also explored how multigenerational teams influence digital transformation. According to Triantafilos, the greatest challenge is not technology itself but the different speeds at which people learn. A single training model cannot meet the needs of all generations.
Older team members bring depth, judgment, and operational knowledge, while younger colleagues offer digital fluency and natural ease with new tools. When these strengths come together, resistance to change decreases significantly. He also pointed out that AI plays a supportive role by reducing repetitive work and giving teams more time to focus on uniquely human skills such as communication, creativity, and critical thinking.

Through its participation in the Multigenerational Management Conference, TP Greece reaffirms its commitment to inclusive leadership and people-first workplaces.
